Changing Alliance

How would one go about changing the alliance or group for a character? Of course, I don't expect to be having persona users suddenly becoming devil summoners, but what about changing the actual alliances, or normal humans finding out about the supernatural or gaining the ability to summon demons?

Of course, there has to be in-story stuff, but mostly I'm wondering about editing the profile. Seian has had an encounter with a demon, and is now friends with a Persona user, and also has great interest in finding out what's going on with everything. This would make him fall under the Neutral group rather than Civilian- But do I just change the profile without notice, or mention the edit in the notification thread? And should I have a timeline of events relevant to the change?

I thought I'd ask to make sure I didn't do anything to cause any headaches, and also have the question here so that anyone else who's wondering could see once it's answered. I don't recall seeing anything that mentioned this, though I apologize if I simply missed it.

If a normal human becomes aware that the city has a darker side, then you're free to change the alliance from Civilian to Neutral, if you'd like. As for changing between groups, it would be much appreciated if you PM me on this account so that I can edit the Arcana thread appropriately- whether it's with a Persona or a demon. Finally, in regards to a timeline, you are not required to do so at all, but it may be within your best interests simply to add something like that to your plot thread- if not for your own benefit, then to keep others updated if they decide they'd like to plot with you.
