Kureha Ayatane18 years old - 3rd year high school student - Part-time patissier - Persona user - SEES - Ingenue "To capitulate is to accept the given sentence or even to recognize the inevitable as such, it is to go to pieces under this sentence, to disarm before the inevitable. It is at bottom to renounce the idea of remaining oneself, it is to be fascinated by the idea of one's own destruction to the point of anticipating this very destruction itself." FriendsKureha's been living in Tokyo for more than two years now, and has surely made some friends. While she might be closer to fellow SEES members than others due to their shared goal, it is unlike her to be within a certain clique, especially in school, preferring to have the epistemic freedom of mingling with whoever she wishes, and then having some time for herself without having to explain.
Most of her friends are likely to be girls, given that until the previous year she was uncomfortable with being around males. And while she wouldn't say that her father has disappointed her in some way, men had not a place in her growth. Childhood friends are also cool -- she grew up in Saitama before being shipped off to the gender-exclusive boarding school. EnemiesNever the quarrelsome sort, Kureha prefers to keep the peace, although dislike does not equate to making an enemy out of them. If there's something she doesn't like, she prefers to keep it to herself. There are, however, a few ways to make an enemy out of her, among others:
1. Try to hurt her/her friends - It's easy to forget that even though Kureha seems like a well-mannered ingenue, she's definitely not one, and has strong self-preservation instincts. Trying to harm her, without sensible reason, will irritate her terribly; otherwise, then by all means, try and she won't even get mad~ 2. Repeated offenses - Once is fine, twice is permissible, but if the third time comes around, kindly prepare yourselves. Kureha is of the idea that repeated offenses are done with full knowledge, and she intends to make said offenders take full responsibility.
That said, Kureha's not perfect, and there are misunderstandings that could come up from her actions and behavior that she may or may not be aware of. LoversIt's not in her priorities right now, but like most people, Kureha would like to settle down with someone in the future.
She prefers both guys and girls, and is open to going out with them if they ask nicely enough.
Age matters to her. She vastly prefers older guys, and any male younger than she is gets automatically shoved to "cute little otouto" territory. She's not as strict in her standards for girls, but any girl, regardless of age, who is overly bubbly and has too much energy than Kureha can entertain, will become a "cute little imouto" to her. x3
Her dad also thinks it's his duty to find her a husband, so him trying to set up engagement meetings for her with his friends' children is not impossible.Others/AcquaintancesFor everyone else that doesn't quite fit into any of the above. She works as a cashier and a patissier at a cafe, most people outside her school could be acquainted to her there. The Big Bad WolfIf you'd taken the time to read the long history in her character profile, there was someone who had saved Kureha when she first encountered the Dark Hour and the Shadows. She never got to know the other's name, but that person knows her name and where she lives and goes to school, since he/she stole Kureha's student ID. This person is not likely to be with SEES, and is likely to belong to one of the other factions. Why else would he/she call him/herself a big, bad wolf? -- other than to juxtapose to Kureha as Little Red Riding Hood.
Kureha's not really looking for this person, but is hoping to see them again."The soul always turns towards a light which it does not yet perceive, a light yet to be born, in the hope of being delivered from its present darkness, the darkness of waiting, a darkness which cannot be prolonged." -Gabriel Marcel

Yuu has had incredible amounts of difficulty actually finding someone from SEES with which to garner information regarding the current demon/shadow situation from; so I'd wager that it seems likely enough for Yuu to be a regular at wherever cafe it is that Kureha works at. It'll also be interesting to see any form of interaction between the two going on - Yuu is 2 years Kureha's senior but looks absolutely nothing like it, so... Yeah, bottom line is "Yuu is looking for someone to enlighten him on the situation and it turns out someone who works at the place he often relaxes at is the right person for it."
Anyway, if you'd like to continue on this string or line of thought, feel free to contact me through PM or by IM or through any other means.

Ringo Shiro would most likely be kind to her just as he would anybody else. Plus he has dealt with girls that are...uncomfortable around guys (just ask Sakuya xD) and due to being the leader of SEES and trying to hold the group together, no doubt he'd socialize with her, even going as far to as to go to the place she works at every now and then.
As far as I can imagine at the moment, their friendship hasn't gotten past typical friendship though.
Ringo is older than Kureha and if you want, he could be a love interest...though that in itself is a bit of a trial. Someone close to Ringo passed away and he still hasn't gotten over it, so Ringo won't be chasing. Though this is optional.

> Sees mention of the big bad wolf > Remembers Eriko's persona is a hellish god-eating wolf > Gets idea!
Only, I'm joking. Unless you're interested in running with Eriko having helped her out.
Given that they're the same age and are in the same level of high school, depending on where she goes, Kureha and Eriko could possibly be acquaintances through bumping into each other at school, or perhaps being in the same class. Alternatively, they could even be book-buddies, or something.

Yuu and Kureha
A valued regular customer. She likes those and will get friendly. X3 Kureha's bound to get curious about what Yuu's researching, but she'd be reluctant telling him about SEES, unless something happens that would necessitate that, cause it's not nice to draw people into danger and all. I daresay Yuu's smart enough to find out she's with SEES though, perhaps through a Dark Hour encounter or something, but even then, he can pester her for answers she's not gonna want to give outright. It'll be fun to see how Yuu will pull info out of her.
Ringo and Kureha
I don't really see Kureha chasing after someone when their friendship hasn't progressed past a certain point, but Ringo would definitely garner her respect and support as their leader. She'll help him keep the group together, and do administrative work if needed and if their group progresses more of a formal organization rather than a bunch of meddling kids.
Eriko and Kureha
Given their similar temperaments (publicly shown traits, on Eriko's part anyway), it's entirely possible that they would gravitate towards each other. I suppose they could be attending the same school, and I'm totally up for Kureha being Eriko's not-as-quiet companion during breaks, and sit at the sidelines together during PE classes. XD

"Not-as-quiet companion". You just caused way too many cute and amusing scenes in my head. But, yeah. I'm open for that. Especially if her entire high school life has been in one school. The fact that Eriko's been a Persona-user long enough to feel resonance also means she'd have noticed Kureha's awakening at some point or another, if you're into cross-faction happenings already.

But of course~ If they've known each other all through high school, I can even go further and have them be friends. Kureha's not likely to get nosy though -- just as she'd appreciate someone who knows when to stop asking -- and will probably be unaware of or, at the very least, won't believe Eriko's yakuza affiliation unless Eriko herself says so or if it becomes very blatant.
Cross-faction thingers would be very good though :3

Blah. I keep getting side-tracked.
I'd be half-tempted to throw Eriko into the thread Kureha and Ringo are in, just for laughs and screwing with Hero-Complex-Guy, but I'm not entirely sure if that'd work out.

I'm open to it~ If you'd want a separate thread for Eriko and Kureha, that's okay too. :3 Just let me know.

It would probably be better to make a separate thread, since suddenly injecting another character could potentially kill the momentum. Would a normal thread or one with Personas be preferable?
