Deciding on an arcana

So, I recently registered for the site and I am in the process of creating my character. I wanted to pick an arcana that well suited his personality rather than an arcana that fits the initial/ultimate persona I would like my character to have.

Well, in a nutshell, my character isn't very optimistic and is more discouraged. He's had a rough childhood and it has changed him. He is now more the quiet type, he doesn't assume he will see tomorrow like many others. I guess a simple way to explain it would be that he is a rather realistic person. He knows that change is bound to happen and nothing lasts forever.

Hope that was enough too help you guys decide, so, which arcana would you say suits this character best?

As for what fits your character, what you've given is not enough, to me, to determine. That said, you don't need to worry about it too much. Once you've gotten a proper idea for your character's full mindset, try to apply it to an Arcana and see if they match. If I really had to make a suggestion- from what you've given- I would suggest the Temperance, as he has accepted that change does indeed occur in life. Though, like I said, I don't know enough to give a proper answer.
