Personality:[/color] Dorei is an extremely damaged and conflicted individual. After a life of servitude, the idea of having a will of his own is almost foreign to him. Whenever he hears an order directed at him, he instantly goes to obey it before he even has a chance to think about what he's doing. When told to decide things for himself, the simple idea of it paralyzes him.
Despite that, he does have interests of his own. What free time he had in his old life was spent teaching himself to read, and once that was done, using that ability. As he resided in the home of Devil Summoners, most of the books he read were on occult, leaving him to be absolutely fascinated by demons and spirits of every sort. Especially since he is one.
Though servitude has been deeply ingrained into him, Dorei's darker emotions have not gone away by any means, no matter how repressed they might be. He feels a great hatred toward humanity for his treatment by all the humans he had ever known for two hundred years, and as his fear fades away, that hatred may yet surface... Combined with his demonic instincts, there is great potential for him to become one of the cruelest monsters Tokyo has ever known.

History:[/color] Dorei was a child when he was bound into servitude to the Yamaguchi household, so young that he doesn't even remember how he came to be there, or anything before. Because of this, all he knows is the hellish slavery that has been his entire life. In fact, his name is nothing more than a noun, as it means simply "slave". He was not regarded with enough worth to be allowed an identity beyond that.
The Yamaguchis were a wealthy family of Devil Summoners, who had built wealth and prestige in Japan through knowledge gained from demons. Though their public face throughout history was shining and spotless, their home life was far less benign. It was a family tradition, if not an inviolable rule, that every member of the family was to abuse their demon slaves in order to take out the frustrations of everyday life, and to channel any and all perversions they might have.
Dorei, of course, took the greatest brunt of this treatment. As his will was completely broken, never having even been allowed to develop, and he was an incubus, he was the perfect target for all of this.
Despite the spotless reputation of the Yamaguchi family throughout history, the most recent head of the family, Haruka Yamaguchi, had brought great shame upon them all. She was regarded as insane by many due to extreme political views against the norm, so much that she is widely regarded as an anarchist for the degree she wants the government to be limited and even weakened.
Because of this, it came as no surprise to anyone when the Yamaguchi mansion burnt to the ground. Of course, this was because no one knew that Haruka's youngest son had sent a demon to do the burning when he was away...
No member of the family which was inside survived the fire, but some of the demons did. Dorei managed to escape, but now he has nowhere to go...
