Skills are divided into two classes, active skills, which can be used in battle, and passive skills, which are either active by default, or are triggered under certain circumstances. You're free to make up your own skills, if you'd like- this list is here for those looking to quickly find and add skills to their slots. If you wish to make your own skills, but don't quite know where to go with it, you may want to look below to get an idea for the information we'd like.
Offensive skills are divided into a number of categories, three being physical, while the rest are magical. Physical skills are split into Slash, Pierce, and Strike abilities. Slash attacks are, well, slash-based abilities. Pierce attacks are anything that pierce a target at one (or multiple!) point. Strike abilities are anything that would be considered blunt trauma- from punching, to clubbing, or hammering. Magic is split into Fire, Ice, Wind, Lightning, Water, Earth, Nuclear, Gravity, Light, Darkness, and Almighty.
There are a few things to note about these. For starters, Light and Dark are not instant death abilities, but abilities that damage like any other spell. Ice and Lightning have a chance at freezing or electrifying their targets respectively. Almighty attacks cannot be resisted, blocked, absorbed, or repeled.
While we're letting you use whatever for your eight slots, there are two things that we'd like to point out: Outside of special cases (Occasionally, maybe the Embodiments, since they're boss-tier characters, anyway), each character is allowed only one severe-damage ability and one almighty ability. We may change our stance on severe-damage skills, but almighty will not change, due to the fact that these skills penetrate any form of defense.
