Weapons:[/color] Sakuya is armed with a weapon that appears to be a strange mix between a cleaver and a machete, which she calls Nameless. She rarely cleans the blood off of it and when confronted with the question "Where does the blood come from," Sakuya lies out of her teeth that it's "used when butchering meat products." Nameless originates from her father, who calls it a "family heirloom." It was apparently passed down the Kyoudou family, but certain circumstances dictated early passing of it down the line.
Personality:[/color] Sakuya is extremely distrustful of boys and men who aren't her father, and she's already been separated from him for certain reasons, their only method of keeping in touch the trusty cellphone. While she won't throw out the prospect of communicating with them entirely and isn't the kind of person who would ignore them (nor is she actually afraid of them), she is extremely cautious of getting involved with any male for whatever reason that isn't related to "work" or "business." On that line of thinking, she basically possesses the "knightly values" of chivalry; a knight in shining armor in the modern ages, except she's a girl. Which means most people who see her who don't understand her will consider her to be a teenaged lunatic, but Sakuya doesn't care. She is zealous about protecting other girls who she feels need it, even if they actually DON'T need it... She needs to be forcibly told to back off in that case.
When she has her sights set on a female she really likes, she will try to breadcrumb hints of her attraction towards them in various subtle manners. She definitely isn't afraid to express her raging homosexuality towards other girls, and can at times be extremely clingy to girls she really likes. However, when she's alone or with people she's just friends with, she can be quite a reliable person. She's not the brightest bulb in the shed, but she possesses enough common sense that she knows when to back off from a bad situation or a situation that would get worse with her intervention. However, her clingy-ness and her massive chivalry can be the death of her especially when faced with particularly tough situations that force her to question her own ideals; she doesn't like thinking more than she has to! Which generally isn't very much. She says it makes her head hurt!

History:[/color] Sakuya is the 14th Summoner of the Kyoudou (京堂) Clan (and the first female Summoner), whose father, Kyoudou Tatsuya, was an influential figure in the area of Minato. Sakuya was born and raised in Aoyama, and taken care of extremely well by her father, who took the time to cultivate Sakuya's potential as the 14th Devil Summoner of the clan. She seemed to inherit the natural talent of her grandfather, Kyoudou Kenji, and quickly learned how to channel her energies and easily form contracts with demons. However, Sakuya's mother, actually seemed to put up a facade of being a loving mother and a loving part of the family... It appears she has some connections with some unknown group, but she seemed to have something against Sakuya being able to fully control her power, and decided to vest her power in trying to sabotage Sakuya's training under her father. Since Tatsuya's job had very late hours, Sakuya's mother would use the time she had alone with Sakuya to horribly torture her and scar her. On several occasions, the mother would use her connections to have Sakuya both beaten and raped when she was around eight years old after tricking Sakuya to a "dinner out with friends."
Unfortunately, Tatsuya was never able to catch this atrocious behavior early enough, because before Sakuya could even tell Tatsuya anything, the mother, Kyoudou Hana, would threaten Sakuya with more punishment if she did. Hana effectively kept Sakuya's mouth shut while slowly eroding her mind, this continued going on for about two years before Tatsuya found out (it appears that Hana had her daughter raped before her biological maturation, explaining the lack of 'consequences'). Tatsuya gathered evidence and had Hana arrested, as well as everyone associated with her. It was too late, however, and Sakuya became even more dependent on her father for emotional support, constantly claiming that "daddy is the only boy I can trust..." Tatsuya eventually explained the value of human life, and that what Sakuya should do is to make sure people such as herself don't ever suffer the same thing she did, and that's when the values of chivalry started being injected into her. From there, Tatsuya also passed down the blade Nameless to her, a "tool that would bring justice to the evil."
When Sakuya turned twelve years old, Tatsuya sought it fit to help Sakuya find an appropriate partner (as in, Demon partner). Sakuya was taught how to bind contracts with demons to special red ofuda tags which served as "containers" for the demons, solely binded by sheer willpower and the bond between the Summoner and the contracted demon. Tatsuya then attempted to walk Sakuya through the process of contracting with a demon appropriate to her line of thinking and her current mental state.
There was a problem with that. Sakuya had already suffered massive emotional trauma from the things her mother had done to her, especially through the men Hana called to continually beat and brutally rape her. When she tried to concentrate her energies to find a demon appropriate for her, it instead backfired and Sakuya's mental instability caused her to encounter the demon Skadi. Due to Sakuya's terrible mental state at the time and the complete accident of bringing up Skadi, the demon herself was just as weakened as she was. Tatsuya was surprised that Sakuya was even capable of contracting such a demon, even if she was in a heavily weakened state. Skadi at the time was wary of Sakuya because of her current state, but as time passed by, despite Skadi's weakened state, she tries her best to work together with Sakuya to do good deeds.
Eventually, Sakuya learned about COMPs through the Internet, and contacted Tatsuya through cellphone, but the latter said he didn't agree with it. Neither did Skadi, apparently, as she expressed negative opinions about "being kept inside such a modern and scientific contraption," in Skadi's words. At present, Sakuya is residing in a dormitory away from the Minato region, studying in a non-descript academic institution in the Shibuya area.
One evening, Sakuya received word from Tatsuya that there was strange activity going on in Aoyama, that the cemetery had increased activity by strange creatures... Sakuya knew that it could only mean one thing - demons and zombies and shadows and all those icky things had come out! Taking more care of herself, she found out that there were attacks on various innocent people, and when she found out numerous girls had been killed in the attacks, her instincts flared up and she began to become increasingly concerned about these attacks and wanted desperately to do something about it. Through a chance encounter with a complete stranger, she was introduced to the group called SEES, which apparently was dedicated to eliminating the threat of demons and shadows. Said stranger had taken note of Sakuya's demeanor, and the presence of the ofuda charm which had given away her true nature to said person.
Apprehensive of the request at first, she received a text message from her father telling her that she should follow her heart, and do what she feels is "righteous" as the 14th Summoner of the Kyoudou Clan.

Other info: Skadi, in Norse mythology, is a giantess and a goddess associated with bowhuntnig, skiiing, the winter and the mountains. She is the one who places the serpent who drips blood on the bound Loki, according to both the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda. Interestingly, Sakuya's encounter with Skadi was a complete accident. It would be not too inaccurate to say that it was through complete serendipity that Sakuya's mental outburst of energy caused her to make a contract with a weakened Skadi. The two seem to get on well together with regards to the hunt; that is, fighting, but they have conflicting views when it comes to relationships. Skadi highly disapproves of Sakuya's homosexual tendencies, constantly mocking it when she notices Sakuya going heads over heels over another girl. Interestingly, one story, namely the Heimskringla, recounts Skadi having married Odin and having had "many sons" with him.

Additional Notes: Even though Skadi is often considered by many to be a "late-game" or "powerful" demon, this particular version of Skadi should be treated as "severely weakened," and not even at half the power she originally was at. This is partly due to Sakuya's chance and accident encounter with her, it caused some distortions which severely weakened Skadi.
