Date: Before Events
The dark hour, the rift, and the shadows were by no means the only danger that lurked in the night of Tokyo, Japan. They were numerous demons that one could one see once they touch the supernatural. Ringo was one of those who has experienced that touch so to speak. Not only has he experienced the power of his persona has since then able to vaguely see the numerous demons lurking in the city. Made sense since the one who gave him the title of leader of SEES was a so called devil summoner.
Ringo ran through a park. It was not long after the dark hour. It was in fact 12:01 AM. Just to his luck, he wandered into a demon abode after leaving the hell that was the dark hour and the numerous shadows lurking through it. This time around the demons were large red dogs. Grams, according to his sources. Three of them were chasing them, their chains clashing against the ground.
Ringo stopped and turned around. He was in the middle of one of the empty parks this area is known for. He glared at the three dogs. The three circling him. Ringo simply stayed still and slowly drew his knife. Suddenly one lunged for him but Ringo instantly dodged by jumping and slamming on it's back as he stabbed down on it. The other two began to lunge at the murderer of their companion but one was soon crushed as Ringo kicked the other away. Below the paw that crushed Gram was the Guardian of the Underworld, Cerberus. The Gram looked at Ringo and still lunged however Ringo simply stared as Cerberus lunged at the Gram and crushed it. Ringo placed the knife away however he heard movement.
"Hello?" Ringo turned around and slowly began walking over to the figure.

Sakuya had arrived at this quaint little park upon recommendation from her father; a strange disturbance had taken place at this juncture. Indeed, the Dark Hour had just passed, a mere minute or so past the accursed unholy hour. Sakuya was at the ready, her blade Nameless brandished, her cylindrical case dangling at her back, open. The bodies of two Garms lay before Sakuya, sliced up and cut cleanly, with the efficiency and preciseness of a cold-hearted murderer. She did not even need to call out her demon, the mighty warrior-lady Skadi, to aid her in what Sakuya would call "killing small-fry." Soon, Sakuya heard footsteps, and someone calling out, presumably to her, a strange, almost human voice: "Hello?" it called out. Sakuya strained her eyes, but it was much too dark to see clearly what was happening. But, she could make out the faint figure of a boy. A boy who had apparently killed more of these beasts that lurked the area. Apparently, someone was also here for the same purposes she was.
But this was a boy! A boy!
Sakuya called back out. "stay back!" Sakuya could now easily make out the figure as it approached her. She tightened the grip on her sword. "don't come any closer! don't even think about doing anything to me!" Sakuya yelled out at the approaching figure.

Sakuya noticed that the boy placed his own weapon on the ground and claimed that he would do nothing. But yet, how was she supposed to trust him and know that he would not go back on his word? "you see these two demonic bodies next to me?! i did that," Sakuya gasped out, pointing to two cut up Garms literally right next to her. "you may have put down your own weapon, but what is your own purpose here? why exactly, have you come here to go creature-hunting? i did not know there were individuals such as yourself! besides, all you men and boys are just beings that i can't trust..." Sakuya huffed out and continued holding Nameless tightly, but she loosened her defensive stance slightly, as the boy had raised his arms out and willingly surrendered his position for the meanwhile. Sakuya had to get confirmation that this kid didn't want to pick a fight and that he had an ulterior motive for not leaving her alone to her sworn duty as a Kyoudou Clan Devil Summoner. She wasn't sure if summoning Skadi was the most prudent move right now, but she would have her ready if the situation called for it...

Sakuya decided this guy seemed relatively harmless enough the minute he was saying something about investigating murders. Sure enough, this guy was here for the same reason she was. It was obvious to the two of them what the cause of the murders was, but it seemed that the boy did not want to bring up conflict. At least, Sakuya could take comfort that he wasn't going to hurt her. Even if he did, Sakuya was capable of defending herself. Sakuya put the blade Nameless back into her cylindrical case and sighed. "fine. i'll humor you, if only because you're doing the same thing! i am kyoudou sakuya, 14th summoner of the kyoudou clan. i am here on a specific mission, to investigate the appearances of demonic bodies and those creatures you call 'Shadows', and to exterminate them if i so see them," Sakuya explained. Soon, she started waving her hand down, almost to get the boy to lower his hands. "fine, fine. be at ease. i've already put away my weapon. it's only fair that if i give you my name you give me yours, no? and don't even think about trying to put any moves on me. i'll cut you." Sakuya finished. She had her weapon stowed away, yet she maintained a chilling, almost murderous glare at the inquisitive guy.

"Fine. I'll humor you, if only because you're doing the same thing! I am Kyoudou Sakuya, 14th summoner of the Kyoudou clan." This girl spoke in a very formal manner. Ringo could assume this Kyoudou clan was a prestigious clan of sorts. Whoever they are, he hasn't heard of them, though only cause he hasn't seen that many police records due to just being in training. "I am here on a specific mission, to investigate the appearances of demonic bodies and those creatures you call 'Shadows', and to exterminate them if I so see them," So she knows about them as well. The girl began to place her weapon away, putting Ringo at more ease.
"Fine, fine. Be at ease. I've already put away my weapon. it's only fair that if I give you my name you give me yours, no? And don't even think about trying to put any moves on me. I'll cut you." Ringo was confused at this statement as he lowered his arms and picked up his knife, placing the blade away in the handle and putting it in his pocket. He was also unnerved by the glare, especially considering that he just proved to her that he was harmless.
"I never intended to...besides I'm not exactly fit for a relationship right no..." Ringo then heard something in the distance. Something deeper in the park. If Ringo knew one thing, it was that this place was perfect for demons. In nature and isolated, where targets can wander in. Ringo stood still for a moment. He then heard a low growl.
Right away something lunged toward Sakuya but Ringo, thanks to the speed granted by his Cerberus' Auto-Sukukaja, kicked what ever was heading for the girl away. He glared at what appeared to be a yellow dog with a blue mane and a long lizard like tail. One thing to note though was that this particular demon has two heads.
"Dogs don't seem to like me today." Ringo thought to himself as he dress his knife. He began to wonder if they were more of the beasts.

"orthros, eh... father warned me about it," Sakuya said, procuring an ofuda tag from her pocket and launched it at the ground, causing a small pillar of light to erupt from it, and out emerged a figure that could not be properly seen at this time of the day, a silhouette only recognizeable due to the cape and very distinct face and headdress she had. "well, skadi, looks like it's time to cooperate with this fellow. it gives me the chills but i've got little choice." Sakuya sounded almost upset by this, having to work with a BOY absolutely gave her the chills, it was almost childish, like the game of cooties. Nevertheless, Orthros the beast stood by, and it had almost tackled Sakuya down if not for the boy's intervention. At this point Sakuya felt it best to start it off with this bad joke.
"yeah, i'm no fan of males in that manner"
Well, that wasn't QUITE a joke, but Sakuya had to swallow her pride. At least Skadi was now around to help her. "tch, you stupid fool..." Skadi decided to chastise Sakuya instead. "take all the help you can get, you'd be wise not to charge headfirst into this battle. how things would have changed if you hadn't suffered what you did..." Sakuya rolled her eyes and drew her blade once more.
"whatever, let's just vanquish this creature."

He has seen the process himself so he had no questions about it. "Well, Skadi, looks like it's time to cooperate with this fellow. it gives me the chills but I've got little choice." Ringo wondered what would lighten her hostility towards him but with a hostile demon in front of him he can't dwell too much on it. "Yeah, I'm no fan of males in that manner." That much was obvious.
"Tch, you stupid fool..." The demon began to speak. "Take all the help you can get, you'd be wise not to charge headfirst into this battle. How things would have changed if you hadn't suffered what you did..." Now would not be the time to ask the questions Ringo had in mind. The demon's summoner rolled her eyes as she drew her sword.
"Whatever, let's just vanquish this creature." Ringo looked over at the Orthros and then took out his knife and rushed toward the Orthros. The two headed dog leaped toward Ringo. He dodged it, thanks to his heighted speed, however as he landed he noticed he felt different. The Sukukaja has worn off. He hissed as the Orthros quickly tried to whip him with his tail but Ringo quickly dropped his knife and grabbed it.

"easy, boy..." Sakuya hissed as she lunged forward with a sort of feline aggression, Nameless drawn out forward to cut at the twin-headed canine, slicing at its legs, causing it to raise itself up, clearly startled but not exactly hurt, yet it appeared Sakuya had only set up for her companion to rush in for a far more damaging blow. "Now!" Sakuya yelled out as Skadi similarly rushed, charging at the dog, a fist was about to be launched at it, and as soon as Skadi's fist impacted with the dog's body, it caused a small shockwave to emanate from the impact itself, launching the Orthros back a little bit. Yet, the creature still stood, and it growled viciously, still with vigor, it seemed that it would not back down without a good fight. It eyed Sakuya and roared loudly, and bared its fangs at her, soon lunging forward to strike her, since she was now vulnerable, yet the girl got down and rolled to the side, jolting back up and alert once more as Skadi drifted back to Sakuya's side. "stronger than the typical rodent, i wager..." Sakuya growled and twirled Nameless about and took a step back to ready herself for another attack. "this time, I won't let myself get caught offguard!" Interestingly, Skadi had eyed the boy. "You should probably fix yourself up, kid. Wouldn't want your superhuman agility to fade on you in an important situation, right?" Skadi cracked a vague joke at the boy, though she meant no inherent harm, and did not sound at all hostile... She tried not to, anyway.

"Easy, boy..." Sakuya said.As Ringo held on to the tail of the Orthrus. The beast turned to Ringo. He did not like this at all. Before Orthrus could turn to Ringo however Sakuya rushed and sliced at the Orthrus. "Now!" The girl's demon punched the side of the Orthrus however it still kept his ground. The demon lunged forward, Ringo let go but collapsed on the ground, he didn't let go fast enough. He quickly picked up his knife and looked over at the two headed beast. "Stronger than the typical rodent, I wager...this time, I won't let myself get caught offguard!" Sakuya prepared her blade as Ringo did his own.
"You should probably fix yourself up, kid. Wouldn't want your superhuman agility to fade on you in an important situation, right?" Ringo then showed the Skadi the cuts and bruises on his hand which are regenerating faster than the normal person.
"I'm going to be fine I think..." Ringo focused. It looks like he was going to have to focus. "I'm going to distract it. I'm counting on you to kill it the moment I charge and strike it. Can I trust you with that?" Ringo asked. He then looked forward. "Let's go." Ringo charged.
As he did, his eye glowed, Cerberus soon appearing above him. The Orthrus roared at the three headed beast and Cerberus like wise. Cerberus then charged at Orthrus causing an intense impact on Orthrus, stunning him for a moment. Ringo then jumped out of the way to give Sakuya and Skadi their opportunity to make the killing blow.

The creature had been stunned by the impact from the boy's attack; it seemed that he wasn't too bad himself, though, so Sakuya found herself having to be wary of him in the future. In any case though, the creature was now vulnerable and most likely about to fall after this last attack, which Sakuya had initiated by drawing forth Nameless once more, and swiftly charging at the canine, making a soft leap before driving the blade unto the neck of this beast, rending it down with the blade. She was tearing it down, causing the beast to roar and flail uncontrollably, Skadi had soon followed suit to assist with putting it down, striking it with a fist to the face, and by this time Sakuya had done what was essentially goring it, with Skadi to make sure that it really fell asleep.
Sakuya had then retracted her blade and looked at it, not turning to face the boy in case this unholy creature somehow still stood. Skadi shrugged and was pretty confident it was gone. "so, now that this dog... thing is dead, what are you going to do now? me, i'm considering going home and reporting my findings. i don't live very far from here anyway."

Sakukya drew her sword and then lunged into the creature's neck. The creature failed. Ringo would allow Cerberus to deal another blow however the girl's demon companion managed to lay the Orthrus to rest. Ringo stared at the no longer twitching corpse of the demon. His eyes stopped glowing, Cerberus slowly fading away.
"So, now that this dog... thing is dead, what are you going to do now? Me, I'm considering going home and reporting my findings. I don't live very far from here anyway." Ringo looked at Sakuya and thought for a moment. SEES at the moment didn't consist of...large numbers. In fact, to call themselves a group would be a complete joke.
"I actually want your help." Ringo said. He has seen her skill in combat. To ignore such a helpful potential member would be hazardous. "I am the leader of a group known as the Supernatural Entity Extermination Squad. SEES for short." Ringo placed his knife away. "We are formed to combat the supernatural threats that have been on rise lately here. I'd like you to assist us in this endeavor." Ringo didn't offer a hand, but just a smile. Then bowed politely. "Kyoudou Sakuya, 14th summoner of the Kyoudou Clan, will you join us at SEES in the future?"

Sakuya still did not turn to face the boy, but before Skadi could object to this behavior, in a flash of light, she was returned to the ofuda tag, a hefty chunk of magnetite could be felt being sapped away from Sakuya's being; though in the end it mattered little, she was able to repay the cost of summoning somehow. Either way, she continued staring at the corpse and cleared her throat. The boy had asked her to join a group called SEES; one that was formed in order to combat these creatures and demons. It seemed incidentally very much in line with her field of work. Perhaps, it would not be such a bad idea to join forces. At the same time, Sakuya did not like the idea of having to be around men. Soon, Sakuya sighed and finally faced the boy.
"you would like to enlist me in your ranks. you have already felt an incredible amount of animosity and hostility from me towards men. i guess in your case boys. i'm pretty sure i'm not too inaccurate in saying that you aren't the only guy there, too," Sakuya began to monologue off, trying to keep herself sane and rational. "so, in asking me to join you, you are going to have to deal with my lone wolf tendencies in that case... knowing full well the implications of my presence in your company, would you still be willing to accept me?"
Sakuya had an evil grin.
"because i know that i would not decline an invitation to join a group sworn to fighting in the name of peace."

"You would like to enlist me in your ranks. You have already felt an incredible amount of animosity and hostility from me towards men. I guess in your case boys. I'm pretty sure I'm not too inaccurate in saying that you aren't the only guy there, too," Sakuya was right on the punch. Heck, even the founder of the organization was male. "So, in asking me to join you, you are going to have to deal with my lone wolf tendencies in that case... knowing full well the implications of my presence in your company, would you still be willing to accept me?" Ringo nodded but noticed a rather disturbing smile on Sakuya. "Because I know that I would not decline an invitation to join a group sworn to fighting in the name of peace." Ringo showed Sakuya a calm look
"...though I am off the opinion you need to work with the team, I won't exactly force you." Ringo again didn't present a hand to respect Sakuya's space. "Welcome to the team." Ringo said. "Give me a moment..." Ringo dug through his pocket to present a red arm band to Sakuya.
"You don't have to wear it, but think of it as a symbol that you're one of us." Ringo said. He then placed the knife away. He checked the time. It was getting awfully late. "Well...I think it's about time to head home." Ringo waved good bye to Sakuya. "I hope to see you in the future." Ringo turned around and began to leave.
